CRiBE is housed in first-class studios and laboratory facilities of international standing. These include:
- An Environmental Laboratory - equipped with a Wind Tunnel and an Artificial Sky and Heliodon (the most advanced of its kind in the UK). The Laboratory provides a unique facility for simulating wind and sun effects and is used for environmental scale modelling.
- Computational Modelling Software - harnessed to deliver state-of-the-art environmental design and other aspects of building and urban-scale design and management.
- Field Measurement Equipment - including ventilation & tracer gas measurement, infra-red thermography, energy and environmental logging equipment.
- A Technical Library - providing an outstanding information resource covering architecture, planning and construction.
