Future ResearchThe research already undertaken provides a unique insight into the actual "real-world" performance of building services in the UK. The results so far indicate a number of areas in which the UK building industry needs to improve, but has also identified a number of opportunities which could lead to meeting our future building needs in an energy efficient and sustainable manner. The Welsh School of Architecture already intends to feed results of this work into energy efficiency guidance to the building services industry and underpin revisions to building regulations at both the National and European level. However, we also wish to develop this resource into other areas and encouraged by the results so far we can imagine may exciting possible developments, contact us to find out more! |
